Black Lake Red Clover [CAN 3880]

Our herd matriarch still looks beautiful at 15 years old. She is a dehorned 2010 progeny from Ritchey Meadows Red Baron out of Shanidar Excella. "Clover" makes the most of her excellent milk volume by producing beefy and fast developing calves. Superior mothering instincts and formerly served as a nurse cow. Gentle but shy. Her tendency to deliver heifers gave us a head start on a line of premium genetics. Her unmilked udder has become misshapen after 15 years.

Seven Sparks Jacquelin [CAN 5294]

Our first hetero-polled and red heifer came in 2021 out of Clover from Lachlan Conrad. "Pumpkin" inherits the beauty of her mother with a little bit beefier frame like her sire. Showing excellent mothering instincts, we are expecting lots of premium stock out of this young lady.

Seven Sparks Kelladorelle [TBD]

Another hetero-polled and red heifer was born in 2022 out of Clover from Lachlan Conrad in a spring blizzard. "KD" is a bit darker shade than her full sister Pumpkin but every bit as charming. It's hard to fathom a more perfect shape of a Dexter female than KD.

Seven Sparks Kleopatra [CAN 5419]

A polled 2022 second calf, first heifer, out of Seven Sparks Reenie inherits the build of her sire Lachlan Conrad. This beefy girl also inherits the long line of milk volume on her mother's side.

Seven Sparks Lilly [CAN 5507]

Another hetero-polled 2023 heifer extends the line of females out of Black Lake Red Clover from Grey Abbey Felix and might be her mother's clone if not for her slightly longer legs. Her first calf was an unassisted red heifer out of Lachlan Leopold and Lilly has already proven to be an excellent mother.

Seven Sparks Hot Cocoa [CAN 5351]

Hetero-polled offspring from Supremely Divine Daire, first calf out of Seven Sparks Daisy, inherited her friendly temperament from her grandmother Una. Born in 2020, "Cocoa" is already producing keepers.

Seven Sparks Marla SPX 1M

A thick hetero-polled red heifer from 2024, the second offspring out of Seven Sparks Jacquelin from Grey Abbey Felix was bred to Lachlan Leopold for the 2026 spring calving season. She also carries an A2 gene.

Seven Sparks Minney SPX 4M 

A delicate little polled 2024 heifer from Grey Abbey Felix out of Seven Sparks Kleopatra. Bred to Lachlan Leopold, we expect her to outperform her size with her first calf expect in 2026.

Seven Sparks Mavis SPX 5M

Another polled red 2024 heifer out of Clover from Felix graces our herd. She is a full sister of Lilly but with a bit darker shade. Bred to Lachlan Leopold for her first calf expected in 2026.

Seven Sparks Kiwi [CAN 5420] - SOLD as pair with 2025 heifer calf

This polled 2022 female was a first calf out of Cocoa from Lachlan Conrad and sports a feminine physique. She wins the award for our first black female to produce a red calf and repeated that feat in 2025.

Seven Sparks Reenie [CAN 5075] - SOLD as pair with 2024 heifer calf

Hetero-polled progeny of Clover from Supremely Divine Daire inherited the milk production of her mother. Born in 2019, we saw 4 premium calves produced out of this girl. Check out her 2023 edition polled bull calf Seven Sparks Luthor. We were sad to let her go, but we couldn't afford to buy her at market value from our graduating daughter who was her "owner."

Hidden Rock Una [CAN 4094] - SOLD bred

A second original purchase from the Hidden Rock dispersal. Horned, compact and beefy. Una is tame but was still boss of the herd at almost 12 years old. Sold in spring of 2024 for herd reduction purposes.

Seven Sparks Daisy [CAN 5217] - SOLD as pair with 2022 heifer calf

The first animal to sport the Seven Sparks name was a 2018 heifer born to Una from Hidden Rock Ruari. This easy calver with good conformation was sold in 2022 for college money (she was our eldest son's cow.)
